Driving Missouri’s Growth, Building Our Future
On the Move is a community engagement effort led by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) to gather direction and insight from Missourians on major transportation issues and priorities across the state.
In 2013, as part of the On the Move program, MoDOT and various community partners has hosted a series of 16 listening sessions, and is continuing the momentum with a mobile tour and virtual forums so that interested citizens, stakeholders and policymakers from across Missouri may be active participants in a conversation about our state’s transportation future.
Reaching out to Missourians to determine their priorities and thoughts about our transportation system is the right thing to do. As a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars, MoDOT needs to know what Missourians think of our current system and to gather ideas for improvements.
Together, we will identify and prioritize needs and solutions that champion a safe and reliable transportation system that ensures economic prosperity for Missouri. This input will be included in a new long-term plan for Missouri transportation that will be shared later in 2013. Share your input in our survey or suggest a project.
